Danny was born and raised in Grenada, Mississippi. He has a degree in Christian Studies: Bible from Mississippi College, and is currently pursuing his Masters degree from Reformed Theological Seminary in Jackson. He was ordained to the gospel ministry in the Southern Baptist Convention in 2016.
Danny has served as a missionary in China twice for three weeks each time through the International Mission Board, in Hawaii for four months through the North American Mission Board, and in Peru for three months. He served as the Student Pastor at Wildwood Baptist Church (SBC) in Clinton, MS, before accepting a call to be the Senior Pastor of Grace Fellowship Church (Reformed Baptist) in Gulfport, MS. It was while pastoring in Gulfport that Danny became Presbyterian. He currently serves as New Covenant’s Minister to Students, and has been on staff here since July of 2019. Danny and his wife, Carlye, have three children: Liam, Sammy, and Nora. They enjoy camping, off-roading, hiking, and anything in the great outdoors.
